How to Take the Best Photos for Your Pet’s Profile:
1. Get on their Level!
Elevate your pet on a platform, or get down on the ground to take the photos! Take photos from their eye level; do not take photos looking down at them.
2. Get their Attention!
Have an assistant attract their attention with food or a toy. They should be looking into the camera, except for the Side Body photo.
3. Go Outside!
Natural light is great for illuminating your beautiful subject!
4. Keep it Simple!
Make sure the background is Not Distracting, and does not include other people or pets or unnecessary stuff that will take the attention off your pet! Solid color backgrounds are best.
5. Hire a Pro!
Professional photographers can capture beautiful, flattering photos while you concentrate on making it a fun experience. There are many photographers that specialize in pet photography - let us know if you need assistance finding one!
6. Keep it Fun!
A photo session should be a fun experience for your pet. Don't forget to reward often, and end with some play or good rub down!
